Doha Port is considered Kuwait’s regional merchant port. Most merchants fay from the GCC member states of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman; as well as neighboring countries such as Iraq, Iran and Pakistan. With small merchant vessels that trek the Arabian Gulf to sell their goods. These vessels are mostly Arabian crafter wooden boats called Dhows and Jalbout.
Doha Port is located at the entrance of the Kuwait Bay (Jon Al Kuwait). Doha ports has 9 piers and a total storage area from agricultural goods, cattle, and commercial goods of approximately 50,000 square meters.
