Since its establishment in 1977, the Kuwait Ports Authority has played a pivotal role in the economic and social development of Kuwait by managing the country’s commercial ports. Maritime ports facilitate the transportation of goods and passengers via ships, serving as critical hubs in global supply chains and driving growth strategies for numerous emerging economies.  

The infrastructure of ports significantly contributes to national economic development by attracting investments in production and distribution systems, supporting the expansion of manufacturing and logistics services, creating job opportunities, and elevating income levels.
